8. Biatch
9. Unfair to You
10. True
11. What a Waste
12. It Belongs to You

So, this is without a doubt one of the best release of this year. This is the most unique music I've heard in a LONG time. It combines brilliant musicianship with carnal funk and gorgeous, soaring melodies. GET THIS!!!! Prepare to cum.

Betraying the Martyrs - Breathe in Life (2011)

Band: Betraying the Martyrs
Album: Breathe in Life
Year: 2011
Genre: Progressive deathcore
Location: Paris, France
Bit rate: 320

1. Ad Astra
2. Martyrs
3. Man Made Disaster
4. Because of You
5. Tapestry of Me
6. Liberate Me Ex Inferis
7. Leave It All Behind
8. Life Is Precious
9. Love Lost
10. Azalee
11. When You're Alone (ft. Steve Garner of The Bridal Procession & Kevin Traore of As They Burn)

I really hate deathcore. And religion. But I have to give credit where credit is due, and I really love this album. It is not your run of the mill deathcore by any stretch of the imagination. The entire album has a very "epic" feel to it, and there are hints of black metal abound as well as a copious amount of clean vocals. The clean vocals verge on faggotry, but I find them tolerable. Give Betraying the Martyrs a chance.

Oh, also, this is NOT the shitty leaked version that has been circulating around. Admittedly, the mixing on the album is still pretty bad, but this sounds way better than the version that originally leaked.

FreddeGredde - Thirteen Eight (2011)

Band: FreddeGredde
Album: Thirteen Eight
Year: 2011
Genre: Progressive rock
Location: Helsingborg, Sweden
Bit rate: 320

4. The Star Song
5. 4 am
6. The Wayfarer
7. Crashing of Planets
8. This Falling World
9. Beside Me
10. Vampire Bride
11. Euphoria
12. Stardust
13. Time Will Tell

This is a really interesting album. All of the instrumentation aside from drums was done by Fredrik, who is an amazing musician and writer. It is very derivative of old Dream Theater and you can tell that just by looking at the cover. The whole album has a very sincere and innocent vibe to it that I really dig. Some of the lyrics are pretty cheesy, but the music still shines through that. Here is a song from the album and here is a medley he did of cartoon theme songs. Also, I'm pretty sure this is the only place you'll find this album.

This was the last project that the god of death metal himself, Chuck Schuldiner, was involved in. I personally think that this is much better than anything Death ever put out. Chuck's crushing riffs, Shannon Hamm's sickeningly fast solos, with the bass wizardry of Steve DiGiorgio... this album is a must own for any true metal fan.
